Enrolling in Daycare

To ensure a safe, healthy place for everyone - human and canine - each dog must complete a "Meet & Greet" before attending Daycare or Overnight Care at the Bellyrub Klub. This is a brief social visit, by appointment, so we can observe your dog's behaviors and discuss his/her needs. We have an open play environment, so all our furry friends must be able get along with each other.

If you'd like your canine fed while at the Klub, be sure to bring his/her food. Keeping their food brand and type consistent helps prevent a stomach upset or allergic reaction.

The Science Behind Doggy Play

According to animal behaviorist Karen London, these are some of the valuable things dogs get through play:

  • bite inhibition
  • obedience
  • body awareness
  • self control
  • attentiveness
  • overall sense of security and happiness

Play also has an important role in creating and maintaining relationships with dogs as well as humans. These benefits cannot be taught - they must be experienced through play making it an invaluable part of a dog's development and well-being.

Using Your Package

  • Pre-paid days can be used any time and do not expire. You do not have to be used on consecutive days.
  • Each package is available for either full days or half days only. They cannot be intermixed.
  • There are no refunds for unused pre-paid package days
  • Check, cash or credit cards are accepted

Our Klub House

Our 9000+ sq. ft. INDOOR, and 3000 sq. ft. OUTDOOR cage-free Exercise/Play area offers a well-ventilated, fresh air environment. The Bellyrub Klub provides:

  • plenty of indoor and outdoor play space for dogs of all sizes
  • separate play groups are available based on individual needs, personality, temperament, play styles, etc.
  • 3000 s.f. OUTDOOR play area with lots to climb on and interact with
  • designated outdoor potty area
  • rest areas
  • a quiet room with fluffy beds and blankets so your dog can relax and recharge

Bellyrub Klub Registration

We want all of our Klub members to be able to have fun in a safe and non-threatening environment. Good basic manners such as Sit, Stay, Come, and Drop It are rewarded throughout the day with treats, praise and - of course - bellyrubs! We also reward our members when they help contribute to a pleasant play day by minimizing barking and play that is too rough.

When you come to visit with us, please bring us a copy of your dog's records verifying that they up to date and have the following:

  • current rabies vaccination
  • current distemper vaccination
  • current bordatella vaccination
  • spayed/neutered (for dogs at least 6 months old)
  • receiving monthly heartworm preventative
  • receiving monthly flea & tick preventative as necessary

All puppies that want to come play at the Bellyrub Klub have to be:

  • at least 16 weeks old
  • have a negative fecal float test
  • and have completed at least the first 2 rounds of puppy shots

Please send your dog to play with a flat collar, with appropriate tags

No prong collars or choke collars are allowed in daycare.
